Petra L. Rocha, 91, of Bay City passed away on December 25, 2015 at Bay Villa Healthcare in Bay City. Petra was born on June 29, 1924 in Cuero, Texas to Manuel and Catarina Rodriguez Longoria.


Petra is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter Elvira Rocha Fuentes; sisters Anita Luna, Angelita Longoria and Yrenia Longoria; brothers infant Manuel Longoria III, and Richard Longoria. She is survived by family members: R Jacinto Rocha Jr. & wife Lori, Roy Garza & wife Rose, Michael Rocha & wife Anita, Marina Rocha Green & husband Robert, George Rocha & wife Jackie, Freda Rocha Allemand & George, Wanda Rocha Ruiz & husband Rafael; siblings Otilia Martinez, Lydia Sanchez, Herlinda Sanchez, Manuel Longoria III and Rudy Longoria; 33 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5:30pm Monday, December 28, 2015 with the rosary being recited at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Services will be held at10:00am Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
