Pete R. Medina, 82, of Bay City passed away June 4, 2013. He was born March 8, 1931 in Thompson, Texas to the late Eusebio Medina and Bonifacia Reyes Medina. He worked for Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Olivia Medina; daughters Bonnie Carlin & husband Ricardo of Bay City and Carol Medina Lopez of Rosenberg; son Daniel Medina of Bay City; sisters Matilda Ramos of Wadsworth, Julia Torres of San Juan, TX and Dolores Tejeda of Richmond; brothers Louis Medina of Bay City, Phillip Medina of Tracy, CA and Robert Medina of Pasadena, TX; grandchildren Daniel Medina & wife Kayla, Julian Michael Medina, Ann Marie Garza, Leon Garza IV, Kristofer Jordon Medina and wife Marcela, and Martin Lopez and great grandchildren Maya Marie Medina and Jaxon Kristofer Medina.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Friday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and Abel Castillo and Ray Ramos, Jr.
