Pete Garcia, Jr., 83, of Markham passed away December 17, 2017. He was born September 4, 1934 in Combes, Texas to the late Pete Garcia and Maria Robles Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter Naomi West and a son-in-law Eduardo Perez, Jr.

Survivors include daughters Matiana Perez of Markham, Anna Maria Hernandez (Abraham) of Buda, TX and Lorenza Brewer (Terry) of El Maton; sons Julian Garcia (Irma), Martin Garcia (Toni Jo), Pedro Garcia (Patricia) and David Garcia (Victoria) all of Markham; 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing. Pallbearers will be Frank Brewer, Jacob Garcia, Juan Mireles, John Roe, Edgar Beltran and Mario Rodriguez.
