Peggy "Peg" Jean Hines, 77, of Bay City passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born August 6, 1936 in Limestone County, TX to the late Henry & Bertha Juanita Hill Walts.

Peggy is survived by her husband: William C. Hines of Bay City; daughter: Sharon Lynn Sherrer & husband Alan of Las Vegas; son: Gregory Daniel Mitchell & wife Tammy of Port Arthur; step daughter: Carrie Lynn Steel & husband Randal of Tulsa, OK; step son: Jeffery Hines of Tulsa, OK; 4 sisters: Lucille Ethridge of Marlin, TX, Patsy Ruth Tucker, Janell Morgan & husband Bill both of Houston, and Dorothy Doty of Bay City; 2 brothers: Jim Walts & wife Joyce of Franklin, TX and David Walts & wife Dottie of Crosby, TX; 10 grandchildren: Courtney Sapp & husband Chris, Holly Sherrer, Rebecca Howser, Brooke Clifton & husband Mike, Kelsey Raelynn Mitchell, Austin Cameron, Erin Cameron, Chandler Mitchell, Shaun Mitchell, and Travis Mitchell; 9 great grandchildren; and many numerous nieces & nephews. Her parents preceded Peggy in death.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, August 26, 2013 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 26, 2013 at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
