Obituary
Peggy Lee DuCote, 61, of Van Vleck passed away January 14, 2014. She was born July 10, 1952 in Sour Lake, TX to Sherman Redd and Patsy Ruth Busley Redd. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother, maternal grandmother Mable Shugart and niece Kristen Jane Redd. Survivors include her father Sherman Redd & wife Glenda of Van Vleck; daughter Misty Cavallin of Van Vleck; brothers John Redd & wife Brenda of Athens, TX and Buster Redd of Van Vleck; grandchildren Calvin & ShyAnn Cavallin; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and special friends Glenda Redd, Carolyn Kile and Audrey Lovett.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at The First Baptist Church in Van Vleck. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bob Hobbins officiating. Pallbearers will be John Redd, Buster Redd, Coy Reed, Daniel Marek, Craig Kile and Casey Kile. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Salvation Army.
