Pedro Guia, Sr., 74, of Bay City passed away May 24, 2025.  He was born October 7, 1950 in Beeville, Texas to the late Crisanto Guia and Erminia Rosales Guia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Valdez Guia, son Pedro Guia, Jr., grandson Drayden Guia, sisters Diane Cruz and Rose Trevino, brother Anthony Guia, mother-in-law Angelina Pulido and brother-in-law Jimmy Valdez.

Survivors include daughters Lupe Collins (Mario Escamilla) and Jo Ann Lule; son Anthony Guia, Sr.; sister Mary Gomez; grandchildren Krystal Scherer (Dustin), Katherine King, Linc Bloomfield, Jr. (Kristin), Leanne Bloomfield Ozuna (Zach), Angelina Rincon (Jeremiah), Joe Ramirez, Thomas Lule, Kaliyah Guia, Anthony Guia, Jr. and Darius Guia; 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Deacon Joe Ramos officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.  Pallbearers will be Linc Bloomfield, Jr., Thomas Lule, Anthony Guia, Sr., Joe Ramirez, Herman Cruz and John Benavides.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Lonnie Ramirez, Fernando Cruz, Jr., Chris Cruz, Robert Bebe Cruz, Milo Cruz, Kam Cruz and Luna Cruz.
