Pedro Garza, 89, of Sweeny passed away July 22, 2014. He was born August 1, 1924 in Hidalgo, TX to the late Inocente and Juana Garza.

Survivors include daughters Maria Rayburn (George) of Sweeny, Angelina Cook of Katy, Rosalinda Pellquin (Rich) of Richmond and Lucy Martin of Sugar Land; sons Ruben Garza of Missouri City, Juan Garza (Carmen) of Ft. Worth, Paul Crane of Plano and Pete Garza, Jr. of Ft. Worth; sister Calle Urerra of CA; brother Nick Garza (Mary) of Bay City; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Swisher officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Juan Garza, Rich Pellquin, Chris Morales, Colby Martin, Kiley Martin, Armando Garza and Julio Garza.
