Dottie Paulette "Paula" Goss, 78, of Bay City passed away January 9, 2024.  She was born December 9, 1945 in Poteet, Texas to the late Judson Young Lowrie and Ruby Smith Lowrie.

Paula was a loving and caring mother and wife that loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also had a love for books and was an avid reader, along with spending time in the kitchen baking and sharing recipes. The Church and her faith were another important part of her life. Sunday was for worship, and she did not miss that weekly opportunity to show her love for the Lord.  She graduated from Yoakum High School in 1964 and went on to attend and graduate from Victoria College where she met her Husband of 56 years. After raising her three boys, and loving to attend and watch their sporting events through the years, she went on to work for Calvary Baptist Church for a twenty plus year career before retiring to spend that remaining time with her husband.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ward Goss and her brother Leslie "Les" Lowrie.

Survivors include her sons Jason (Cindy) Goss, Jonathan (Deanna) Goss and Jared (Teresa) Goss; grandchildren Benjamin, William, Georgiana and Jackson Goss and sister-in-law Linda Lowrie, brother-in-law William Goss, sister-in-law Roxy Goss and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 10:30AM Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church.  A memorial service will be at 11:00AM with Rev. Lane Par Due officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary's Meals to Shut-ins Ministry.
