Paul Lozano, Sr., 79, of Bay City, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009. He was born January 15, 1930 in Greyburg, TX to Maria Anguiano and Epemenio Lozano. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, and a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife: Lucia Barron Lozano; his children: Mary Isabel Lozano, Jose Anthony Lozano, Pete Lozano & wife Debbie, Guadalupe Lozano & wife Veronica, Paul Lozano Jr. & wife Evelyn, Martha Sharpe & husband Christopher, Dolores Schurtz & husband Joel, Rachel Huerta & husband Raul, Vicente Gonzalez & wife Helen, and Lucy Lozano Woodward & husband Paul; by his sister:; and by 29 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and by 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents: Maria & Epemenio Lozano; his sisters and brothers: Dolores Perez, Maria Louisa Lozano Rodriguez, Jose Lozano, Carmel Lozano, Zoila Barron, Ceytana Guanajuato and Ramon Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Sunday. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 13, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX with military honors provided by VFW Post # 2438.
