Paul Dean Norman, Sr., 74, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2009 in Bay City, TX. He was born October 30, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK to William Ray Norman and Pearl May Swinford Norman. He was a long time resident of San Antonio and was a retired Iron Worker.

He is survived by a daughter: Debbie Elaine Polachek & husband Thomas of Bay City; by stepdaughters: Herminia Alvarado & husband Carlos of San Antonio and Reina Benson of San Antonio; by sons: Daryl Wayne Norman of Richmond, Paul D. Norman, Jr. & wife Veronica of San Antonio and Bobby Joe Norman of Austin; by stepsons: Mario Garcia & wife Eduarda of Hazlehurst, GA and Felix Garcia & wife Ana of San Antonio; by a sister: Lula Faye Pounders of Brazoria; by brothers: Warren McPeak of Tucson, AZ and Billy Ray Norman of West Columbia; and by 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents: William R. and Pearl Swinford Norman; and by a stepson: Martin Garcia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
