Paul Mitchell Mallia, Jr., 88, passed away December 7, 2018. He was born February 15, 1930 in Galveston, TX to the late Paul Mitchell Mallia, Sr. and Mary Katherine Semunovich Mallia.

He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and later retired from Phillips Petroleum.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Vallie Ruth Mallia, his son John Mallia, and grandson Nicholas Mallia.

Survivors include son W. E. "Bill" Mallia and wife Cherry; grandson Christopher Mallia and wife Jessica; granddaughters, Brittnie Mallia, Taylor Warnick and Samantha Mallia; and three great grandchildren Brandy, Michael and Thomas Paul.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Greg Korenek officiating. Interment will follow at Sweeny Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Shoppa, Bill Vautrain, Kenneth Bruce, Tim Lewis, Jim Follett and John David McBride.
