Paul Howard Lindsey, 90, of Sweeny passed away May 28, 2007. He was born May 20, 1917 in Lexington, Tennessee to Richard and Laura Pirtle Lindsey. He retired from Phillips Petroleum and was a member of the Sweeny Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Rose Nell & Charlie Bennett of Ovilla, TX; son and daughter-in-law John & DeLula Lindsey of Senoia, GA; daughter-in-law Susan Lindsey of Ft. Worth, TX; 7 grandchildren Lauri Roberts, Melissa Lindsey, Jamie Lindsey, Holly Jo Bennett, Joey Bennett, Lance Lindsey and Kyle Lindsey and 3 great grandchildren Tyler Lindsey, Mallory Roberts and Landon Roberts. He was preceded in death by his wife Brooksie Nell Lindsey; son Jim Lindsey and 9 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Sweeny Church of Christ with Glenn Salyer and Jack Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Sweeny Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lance Lindsey, Kyle Lindsey, Edward Burt, Rodney Weems, David Carr and Joe Hazelwood. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Sweeny Church of Christ.
