Patsy Ruth Delcore Wolfe went to Heaven on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 77 years old. She was born on July 9, 1936 to the late Irma and Herman Thornhill in Columbia, Louisiana. She married Elwood Calvin "EC" Wolfe on March 11, 1955. They lived in Bay City, Texas for the majority of their marriage. Patsy was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Bay City and loved her church dearly. She would attend service any time the doors were open. She was a woman who believed in God and would always sing his praises. Pasty, affectionately known as Mema, adored her family and always made them her first priority. She loved cooking and baking for them and having her house filled with grandchildren. She also loved to sit outside on the front porch in her rocking chair. She had a passion for flowers. She would spend time every day planting and weeding her flower beds. Patsy loved to read and helped to instill that love in her grandchildren as well. She always had a new book on her side table and was often reading her favorite book, the Bible.

Patsy is survived by her husband: EC Wolfe and three children: Debbie Winkenwerder and husband Jerry, Danny Wolfe and wife Jeanette, Dale Wolfe and wife Winnie, ten grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The Family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Bay City with Rev. Kevin Blake officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
