Obituary
Patsy Ruth Cartwright, 78, of Wadsworth passed away July 28, 2016. She was born June 23, 1938 in Matagorda, Texas to the late Earl Ray Armstrong and Lela LeCompte Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by daughter Susan Elaine Cartwright, husband of 61 years Howard Eugene Cartwright and grandchildren Dakota Cartwright and Rachel Ruiz. Survivors include daughters Debra Lopez and Donna Burns; son Howard "Son" Cartwright, Jr.; brothers Sonny Armstrong, Earl Armstrong and Jesse Smith; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial service honoring her life will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2016 at Turning Point Church in Bay City with Rev. Gordon Winfrey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in her name to Texas Children's Hospital ? Office of Development ? P.O. Box 300630, Suite 5214 ?
