Patrick Mark Flanagan, 56, of Van Vleck, was called to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born in Huntsville, TX to the late William "Bill" Flanagan and Shirley Jordan Flanagan. He was a 1976 graduate of Dickinson High School where he excelled at both football and track. He worked tirelessly as a dedicated employee of Houston Lighting & Power for over 20 years as well as a rancher at the family estate in Van Vleck. His life interests were many and include loving and caring for family and friends, rodeo, ranching, hunting, fishing, and visiting the State of Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Tracy, son Jeremy, brother Mike and his wife Beatrice, brother Monte, nephew Michael Flanagan, uncle Don Jordan and his wife Barbara, and many loving cousins.

Memorial services will be 2:P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the 1st United Methodist Church in Van Vleck.
