Patricia Joan Mozley, 85, of Van Vleck passed away March 5, 2025. She was born June 19, 1939 in North Platte, Nebraska to the late Lawrence Carl Krause and Eula Peterson Krause.

She was called to her heavenly home where she now rests with no more sickness or pain.

She was born and raised in North Platte, NE where she married and had three daughters. Later moving to Colorado, she was a nurse for many years.

She married Gordon Mozley in June of 1980 and they began a new life in Van Vleck, TX.  She worked tirelessly beside (Fire Chief) Gordon operating the Van Vleck Fire Dept as dispatcher & secretary/treasure until Gordon passed in 2000. She genuinely loved helping others.  She loved to bake, did crafts and made jewelry for her daughters. She was known for the beautiful wedding cakes that she made throughout the years. She truly loved spending time with her church family at "Sassy Senior" days playing games, eating good food and fellowshipping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Mozley, Brother in laws Jack Anthony, Cleve Mozley, Jim Case and a daughter Sue Krause.

Survivors include daughters Chris Horrall and Lesa Richardelle and her husband Scooter; sister Jane Case; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, two nieces along with many friends and of course her fur babies.

We are sad and our hearts are broken as you were taken too soon but we know you are in your heavenly home now and we will see you again someday. Until that day, we will cherish every memory.

Our family would like to extend sincere thanks to the doctor's and nurses at MRMC and Angel's Care Hospice for all of the care and comfort that was provided.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Paz officiating.
