Patricia Ann Maitland, 71, of Bay City, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Houston, TX. Lovingly known as the "Tweety Bird Lady", she was born June 24, 1938 in Hagerstown, MD to Pasco Ervin Bradsher and Helen L. McCanless Bradsher. She was a resident of Bay City for the past six years, a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay City and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Virginia.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah & George Schneider of Blessing, Crystal & Jeff Farrell of Bay City and Marlease & Bob Bucher of Chesapeake, VA; by her sons: Russell Thompson & wife Diane of Hillsborough, NC, Tomas Littlefield & wife Darlene of Portsmouth, VA and Michael Carreca of Alabama; and by 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Davidson H. Maitland and her parents: Pasco Ervin and Helen L. Bradsher.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Zimmerman officiating.

Grave Side funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Parkland Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Patricia A. Maitland to the American Lung Cancer Society.
