Oralia Jimenez Escobedo, 79, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Santander Jimenez, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Eusebio Jimenez and Maria Guadalupe De La Fuente.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her Husband, Mariano Escobedo of Bay City; and her brothers, Sergio Jimenez De La Fuente, Emilio Jimenez De La Fuente, and Juan Jimenez De La Fuente, all of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Oralia is survived by her daughter, Graciela Escobedo Recio of Dickinson; son, Mariano Escobedo Jr of Houston; sister, Irma Guadalupe Jimenez Ochoa; and brother, Jose Francisco Jimenez De La Fuente, both of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at 1:00pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rosary beginning at 1:30pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 2:00pm with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Pallbearers for Ms. Escobedo will be Fernando Recio, Omero Lopez, Carlos Gonzales Jr, Jaime Escobedo, Mariano Escobedo Jr., and Brandon Escobedo.
