Oma Marie "Oma Lee" Watkins, 87, of Logansport, LA passed away Thursday, October 10, 2007 in Shreveport, LA. She was born September 16, 1920 in Forest, TX to the late Oscar Rodgers and Minnie Trammell Rodgers. Mrs. Watkins was a resident of Louisiana for the past 11 years, was a former resident of Wharton, TX, and worked many years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She is survived by daughter: Kathryn Bordelon & husband Alphonse of Logansport, LA; 3 sons: Cecil Wayne Watkins & wife Shirley of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Ross Watkins & wife Jackie of Mills, WY, and Brent Watkins & wife Yolanda of Wharton, TX; sister: Ruth Smith of West Columbia, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Cecil Thomas Watkins; and son: Pat Watkins.
