Obituary
Olivia Nevarez, 86, of Palacios passed away October 25, 2007. She was born December 2, 1920 in Falfurrias, TX to the late Guadalupe and Martha Rodriguez Colunga.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerinimo Nevarez; twin sister Hortencia Colunga & other siblings and 2 grandchildren. Survivors include five daughters Flor Gonzalez and Yolanda Aleman both of Bay City, Mary Torres of Palacios & Elmina Hernandez & Rosalinda Nevarez both of Elsa, TX; two sons Edward Nevarez of Richmond, VA & Noe Nevarez of Palacios; 26 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday, Oct. 29, 2007 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. James Nischan officiating.. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonel Nevarez, Eric Ramirez, Noe Nevarez, Joe Ramirez, Eric Nevarez and Carmen Alaman, Jr.
