Olivia Garcia Medina, 88, of Bay City, passed away February 8, 2018. She was born October 10, 1929 in Cuero, Texas to Domingo Garcia and Hirene Garza Garcia.

Olivia is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Pete R. Medina. She is survived by daughters Bonnie Carlin (Ricardo) of Bay City, and Carol Medina Lopez of Rosenberg; son Daniel Medina (Laura) of Bay City; sister Gloria Ramos (Jesse) of Austin; brothers Sammy Garcia (Gloria) of Alvin and Albert Garcia (Lucy) of Markham; grandchildren Daniel Medina (Kayla), Julian Michael Medina, Ann Marie Garza, Leon Garza IV, Kristofer Jordan Medina and Martin Lopez, and great-grandchildren Maya Marie Medina, Jaxon Kristofer Medina and Melody Medina.

The rosary will be recited at 9:30am Monday, February 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City. The funeral mass will follow the rosary at 10:00am, with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
