Olga G. Rodriguez, 67, of Palacios passed away October 4, 2021.  She was born June 21, 1954 in Wesleco, TX to the late Jose Gonzales and Sarita (Vasquez) Gonzales.  Olga graduated from Palacios High School in 1974, with a Cosmetology Certificate.  She loved Caring for others, Spending Quality Time with Family, Gardening, Playing App Games on her Phone and IPad, Coloring, Decorating, Loved to Cook, Clean, Sew, Special Arts and Crafts, and Loved to go Sight Seeing along with Car Rides.  Olga worked at Texas Instruments, Inteplast Plastics, Palacios Hospital, Palacios Nursing Home, as a Tax Assistant, and as a Care-Taker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Estella Vasquez.  Survivors include daughters: Sheila Ramirez (Santiago) and Stephanie Sosa (John Edward); son: Joel Rodriguez (Megan); brothers: Ruben Gonzales (Henrietta) and Juan Gonzales (Lucy); brother-in-law Baldemar Vasquez; grandchildren: Jose Rodriguez, Juan Ramirez, Robert Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Hillary Rodriguez, Paulette Rodriguez Adam Aguirre III), Edward Sosa, Jr., Sammy Sosa, Jenna Jimenez, Joel Jr, Ethan Rodriguez, Mason Rodriguez and Sophia Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Paityn Aguirre, Adam Aguirre IV and Edward Sosa III; and special niece and nephew: Rachel Vasquez, U.J Vasquez and many other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 22, 2021 at Palacios Funeral Home.
