Odessa M. Hunt, 81, of Bay City died October 9, 2005 at Matagorda General Hospital. She was born October 18, 1923 in Jamestown, TX to the late James Knox and Nellie Gray Moore. Mrs Hunt was a resident of Bay City the past 5 years a former 50 year resident of Palacios. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Palacios.
Survivors include: 3 daughters: Mary Gregory of Grandbury, TX, Eva Crenshaw and Linda Baker both of Bay City, TX; son: John Wesley Hunt of Edna; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William W. Hunt; sisters: Aliene Morgan and Dolly Gaspard; and brothers: Loy, Marcus, and Raleigh Moore.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell & Bill Morgan, Bobby Berger, Chipper Holt, and Tommy & Paul Hunt. The family will receive friends at the Palacios Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
