Obituary
Norma Jean Ramsey of Bay City born February 24, 1933 in Bay City to John Joseph and Dora Keusel Sherrer.
After graduating from Bay City High School in 1950 she went to work for Leu Stewart Studio at the entry level of photography. She worked for 11 years, then bought the business with her husband Coy. She retired in 2005.
Norma was a member of the National Professional Photography Association of Texas and the National Association of Professional Photographers. She earned the degree of Master Photographer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karen Jean Ramsey, brothers Henry, Eugene, Leroy Sherrer; sister Anne Quall.
Survivors include her husband Coy C. Ramsey Jr.; son, Bruce Alan Ramsey; daughter-in-law Patricia Burley Ramsey; grandsons Benjamin Ramsey & Dean Ramsey; sister Lucille Hinds and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until service time.
Funeral service 2:00p.m. Monday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ramsey officiating. Private burial will be at Hawley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
