Norma Louise Gates, 97, of Bay City, TX passed away Saturday  June 11, 2022. She was born January 20, 1925 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Walter Bickford and Willine Mead Bickford.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eathel E. Gates; children Donald Lee Gates and Robert Gates;. She is survived by children Kenneth Wayne Gates, and David Michael Gates and wife Katherine; sisters Sarah Jean McDonnel and Nedra Jones, and daughter-in-law Rose Gates; grandchildren Damon Gates and wife Rachel, Tiffany Wheeler and wife Kim, and Christopher Gates; three bonus grandchildren, Shane Ardoin and wife Leighia, Brandy Ardoin and Jason Davenport; great-grandchild Remy Gates: bonus great-grandchildren Aiden Ardoin, Skylar Ardoin,  Rebel Ardoin, and nephew Ricky Jones and wife Laura.

Graveside services will be 10:30 am Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Cedarvale Cemetery with Chris Webber officiating.
