Nola Reed, 83 of Markham, TX passed away on October 22, 2005 at the Legacy. She was born February 20, 1922 in Fayetteville, TX to the late Louis and Minna Marburger Menking. Mrs. Reed was a 50 year plus resident of Markham. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Markham and taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Reed was a loving wife & mother and was always providing love, support, and care to others.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law: Lana & Joe Ramsey of Markham; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Wendell & Lisa Reed and Randall Reed all of Markham, TX; sister: Orenell Reed of Edna, TX; grandchildren: Rachel Rush & husband Louis of Palacios, Lisa Sexton & husband Kenny of Markham, Kelly Sanders & husband Doug of Brenham, TX, Lauren Reed & Chelsea Reed both of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren: Caleb , Joshua, and Hannah Rush, Tanner & Taylor Sexton. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Gus Reed.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev's Joe E. Ramsey and Louis Wayne Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
