Nicolas Lopez Martinez, 34, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Freeport, Texas. He was born April 6, 1992, in Mexico to Jose I. Lopez Flores and Maria Martinez Solis.

Nicolas enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved soccer! His favorite soccer team las chivas.

He is survived by his parents, Jose Lopez Flores and Maria Solis; his two children, Ela Lopez and Leo Lopez; and brothers, Enrique Lopez, Teryo Lopez, Elias Lopez, Damaris Lopez.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 5-7 pm Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, with the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers for Nicolas will be Teryo Lopez, Elias Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Efrain Avila, Christopher Perez, and Antonio Martinez.
