Nannie Bell Rodgers, 85, of Bay City passed away August 20, 2019. She was born June 30, 1934 in Jackson County, TX to the late Jesse New and Addie Gertrude Quatlebaum New.

She owned and operated the Merle Norman Studios in Bay City for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sibling Inez Boyd, Joe New, Billy Fred New, Jessie Lewis, Merle Askew and Virginia Louise Burke.

She is survived by her husband Marvin Wayne Rodgers; sisters Wanda Fansler and Elizabeth "Mickey" Brown; brother Maurice New and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Family Worship Center. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Frazier, Keith Stains, Justin Black, Dustin Black, Dan Tinus and Steve Alley.
