Nan Gutierrez Garcia, 52, of Bay City passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Houston. She was born July 1, 1959 in El Campo to Alonzo Lonnie Gutierrez & Mary Nancy Perez . Nan was a longtime resident of Bay City, and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Bay City.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years: Fedencio Garcia of Bay City; mother: Mary Nancy Gutierrez of Bay City; 2 daughters: Erica San Miguel of Houston and Kristal Villanueva of Bay City; son: Lonnie Garcia of Pasadena; 3 sisters: Sharon Soto Gonzales of Bay City, Gloria Gutierrez Trujillo of Michigan, and Virginia Garza of Bay City; and 12 grandchildren. Nan was preceded in death by her father: Alonzo Lonnie Gutierrez, sister: Brenda Bush, and brother Johnny Soto,brother-in-law Juan Manuel Garcia and Manuel Garcia and granddaughter, Alexis Garcia.

A rosary will be held 6:30 PM Monday, February 27, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: Humberto Gonzales, Rafael Gonzales, Henry Orosco, Sergio San Miguel, Coy Martinez, and Javier Villanueva.
