Myron Douglas "Mike" McCloskey, 74, of Bay City passed away January 21, 2013. He was born January 5, 1939 in Cyril, Oklahoma to the late Leland McCloskey and Madie Laughlin McCloskey. He served in the US Army. He retired from Celanese after 35 years and was a member and past –president of Baycel Golf Club and a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Eva Shannon McCloskey. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Felba Ruth McCloskey; his step-mother Mary Ann McCloskey of Clairemont, CA; daughter Michele McCloskey Watson and husband Gary of Theodore, AL; son Mikel David McCloskey of Bay City; brother Richard McCloskey & wife Yvonne of Clairemont, CA and two grandchildren Eva Ashley McCloskey and Chris Henry Bouldin, Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Roy Green, Jan Norris, Ricky Zarate, Jason Graham, Joe Espericueta and Ben Kiker. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Jurek, Mo Quintanna, Roger Schneider, Ralph Seidel, Sr., Frank Lawrence and Ernest Ramirez.
