Obituary

Morris Willie Roecker Sr., 82, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007 at his home in Brazoria County. He was born November 12, 1924 in Belmont, TX to the late Willie & Dena Esse Roecker. Mr. Roecker was a longtime resident of Brazoria County, he worked as a carpenter for U.S. Contractors until retirement, and was a member of the Cedar Lane Baptist Church.

He is survived by: wife: Leona Margueritte Alexander Roecker of Brazoria; daughter: Sue Carlotta Adair of Seguin; step-daughter: Lacreeda Arnette Smith of Lake Jackson; 3 sons: Morris W. Roecker, Jr. of Fentress, TX, Wm. David Roecker of Staples, TX and Ruben Mark Roecker of Seguin; brother: Melvin Roecker of Gonzales; grandchildren: Darla White, Dana Bozeman, and several others; and great grandchildren: David White, Jada Bozeman, Jasmine Bozeman, and several others. He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

The Family will receive visitors from 3 PM to 5 PM Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 21, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Zach Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Bozeman, Sean Middleton, Dennis, Mike, and Randy Roecker.
