Mollie Yeamans Miller, 106, of Matagorda, TX, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Wharton, TX. She was born March 21, 1903 in Matagorda to Philip Yeamans and Pauline Bunk Yeamans. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Boling.

She is survived by her daughter: Evelyn Anne Wofford of Lake Jackson; by grandchildren: Roger Wofford & wife Brenda of Jones Creek; by great grandchildren: Lisa Woffard Brown & husband Bill of Oyster Creek, Steven Turnquist, Samantha & Megan Fancher; by great-great grandchildren: Cole Hines & wife Amber, and Hunter Artwell; and by great-great-great grandchild: Aubrey Hines. She is preceded in death by her parents, by husband Ray Miller; by son-in-law: Burt Wofford, Jr; by grandson: Ray Wofford; and by eight brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Matagorda Cemetery, Matagorda, TX with Rev. Oliver Southall officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Avalon Place and the staff of Houston Hospice of El Campo.
