Obituary

Mitsue (Machiko) Shingo Gray, of Bay City, left this earth peacefully for a beautiful home with her Father in Heaven on April 15, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1927 in Japan. She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 53 years Clark Mason Gray, and her little black dog Miky. Clark and Mitsue met in Japan where Clark was stationed in the Army. They were married in Japan, and she moved to the United States where she became a US citizen. She was a very loving and warm person to all of her many friends. She loved working in her gardens with many beautiful flowers.

Mitsue is also survived by her sisters and many nieces and nephews in Japan , and other extended family members and friends, Eugene & Janice Koudelka and their families, Emily Wood, Bob & Gaynel King and their families, brothers in-law and sisters in-law Glenn & Linda Gray and their families, and Sam & Janice Gray and their families.

A special thanks for her caregivers Carolyn, Terry and Sheena, Houston Hospice, Angels Home Care and the staff of Matagorda Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am Wednesday, April 18, 2018 followed by services at 11:00am at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Trent James, Anthony Rutledge, Chris Smoke, Bob King, Joe Reed and Bob Geffert.
