Millie Dale Hartman, 95, of Palacios passed away March 19, 2016 in Victoria surrounded by her family. She was born in Oklahoma on August 18, 1920 to the late James B. Arnold and Mary Williams Arnold.

She was a lifelong resident of Palacios where she worked at Dumas Shrimp House and was an active member of Palacios VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Millie had a passion for cooking, baking and gardening. She was famous to her family for her amazing hot rolls. She had a laugh that would light up a room and she will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her brother Sterling Arnold, her son Wayne Henderson, her daughter Leona Auztin and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and close friends.

The family will greet friends and relatives beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM followed by interment at the Palacios Cemetery.
