Mildred Wells, 83, of Bay City, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Legacy in Bay City. She was born September 10, 1923 in Eunice LA to Martin & Rita Vizey Vige`. She was a resident of Bay City since 1950 and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Wells.

She is survived by her children: Donald C. Wells & wife Anna of Bay City, Gayle Wells of Needville and Terry Wells & wife Karen of El Campo; her sisters: JoAnn Francois and Alberta Kemp of Eunice, LA; a brother: Garland Vige` of Moss Bluff, LA; and by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Jeff Zacek, Paul Skrovan, John Waller, Ryan Wells, A.C. Symmank and Robert Zacek.
