Mildred Kopecky Lee 96, of Bay City, passed away November 27, 2019. She was born December 18, 1922 in Galveston, TX to Joseph Paul Kopecky and Alvina Mikesh Kopecky Degenhardt.

Mildred received her education, graduating with the Shiner School Class of 1940. She later retired from Beall's Dept. Store.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life Edward F. Lee; brother Clarence Kopecky; her stepfather; half-sister Irene Kelly, and half-brothers Johnny Degenhardt and Alton Degenhardt. She is survived by her step-daughters Charlotte Machan (Conrad), Edwina Stratta, Virginia Hightower (Bill), and Rita Whitley all of Bryan, TX, and step-sons Edward "Butch" Lee (Mary Lou) of Bryan, TX and Vance Lee of El Maton, TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 1:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX. Pallbearers are William Lee, John La Four, David Heger, Jarrod Hamlin, Wesley Mangan and Kyle Mangan. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Hightower and Conrad Machan.
