Mike Montalvo, 70, of Van Vleck, Texas went to be with his Savior on January, 13, 2019. He was born on September 18, 1948 in Bay City, TX to Felix and Rosa Quintanilla Montalbo.

His family loved him dearly and they will miss him very much.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Felix Montalbo Jr. He is survived by his wife Erlinda Escobar Montalvo; daughter Michelle Woodley and husband Sonny; sons Michael Montalvo, Jr and wife Jessica, and Marshall Montalvo; brothers Louis Montalbo and wife Guadalupe, George Montalbo and wife Kathy, and Paul Montalbo and wife Ann; sisters Margarita Nieto and husband Adolfo and Rosalinda Thomas; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, January 15 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. There will be a Prayer Service at 6:30pm. Services are 1:00pm Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Felix Montalvo, Adam Perez, Raymond Garcia, Joe Morales, , Bryan Pott, Wesley Escobar, George Montalvo, Jr. and Billy Joe Nieto, Sr.
