On January 3, 2018 at 8:53am, Micki Lynne Holstein passed away at Memorial Hermann SW Hospital in Houston, TX at the age of 57. She was born May 21, 1960 in Temple, TX to Sandra Moran Warchesik and Harold Holstein.

Micki spent most of her earlier years in Houston, where she graduated high school and had two sons. In 2000, she left the city and moved to Palacios, TX hoping for a better life for her and her boys. In 2003, Micki went back to school at WCJC to pursue a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, She graduated Valedictorian of her class at the age of 44. Micki dedicated her life to helping others, never expecting anything in return. She was the best mother anyone could have for. The joy she brought to others will never be forgotten, and she will forever live in our hearts.

Micki is survived by her mother Sandra Warchesik; sons Norman Michael Johnson and Jeffrey Frierson; brothers Claudie Holstein and Kelly Holstein, and granddaughter Cambria Lynne Johnson.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 10:00am Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Palacios Funeral Home. Services will follow visitation at 2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers are Norman Michael Johnson, Jeffrey Frierson, Kelly Holstein, Claudie Holstein, Cody Wilson and Jovaun Joseph.
