Michelle Jo Evans, 62, of Bay City, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 in Houston, TX. She was born October 17, 1946 in Defiance, OH to Virgil Eugene Dauth and Donna June Smith Dauth. She was a secretary for Evans Oil Company and a long time resident of Bay City.

She is survived by her husband: Mitch Evans of Bay City; her daughter: Carolyn Nicole Schneider & husband Jarrod of Ft. Drum, NY; her sons: Craig Troy Evans & wife Marrie of Bay City, David Charles Evans of Atlanta, GA and Travis Mitchell Evans & wife Doris Elizabeth of Sealy, TX; by her brother: Kyle E. Dauth & wife Barbara of Hurst, TX; and by her grandchildren: Tabetha Skylar Evans, Troy Eugene Evans, Loraine Nicole Evans, Makayla Rayne Evans, Jordan Thomas Evans and Samantha Paige Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil E. and Donna June Dauth.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church of Bay City, with Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2009 at Flint Cemetery in Flint, TX.
