IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Micheal Raymond
Morrow
March 2, 1970 – September 14, 2019
Micheal Raymond Morrow, 49, of Bay City, Texas passed away September 14, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on Monday, March 2, 1970 to his parents David Edward Safford and Jacqueline Fay Morrow in Berlin, Vermont.
Micheal was not known for being a very outspoken person, unless of course you knew him closely, but he was a man of many talents and hobbies. He especially loved spending time with his family who he loved dearly. He enjoyed racing trucks that he fabricated and modified in Connecticut, and was always found to be in his garage working on projects, as well as loyally maintaining the family vehicles. He was also an avid fisherman and loved fishing with the Yankee Fleet in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Micheal worked as a carrier for the Houston Chronicle with the love of his life, Christine for about 12 years. They were even married in their distributor's backyard. Micheal was a lover of animals, and even had a tattoo of his python "Boots." He rescued many animals throughout his life, including two cats he found and nursed them back to health, as well as his beloved 9 year old boxer, Saddie Anne, who he found neglected in a house. He was a man full of love!
Micheal was survived by his wife, Christine Hengstebeck Morrow; mother, Jacqueline Morrow; sister, Susan Dupuis and her two daughters Ashley Miller (husband Dennis and kids Angelina & Andrew), and Rebecca Oosterman (husband Jeremy and sons Christopher & William); he is also survived by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Hengstebeck along with their children, Michelle, Robert W., Christine (June), Katharine (Rick McCann) and Lydia; as well as his boxer Saddie Anne, and a host of friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, David Safford.
