Michael "Mike" Longoria, 59, of Converse, TX, formally Bay City, TX, went to be with the Lord and his heavenly family on Friday, June 14, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ricardo R. Longoria & Matilda D. Longoria, and brothers Joe Pineda, Richard Longoria, and Richard D. Aruajo.

He is survived by his children Michael (Alexandria) Longoria, Converse, TX, Marcus (Iesha) Longoria, Converse, TX, Angelina (Johnny) Longoria, Victoria, TX; Sisters Rachel (Roger) Ramirez, Markham, TX, Virginia L. Garcia, Bay City, TX, Hortense L. Zavala, Appleton, Wisconsin, Herlinda D. Ybarra, Houston, TX, and Rosemary A. Gonzales, Houston, TX; Brothers Ruben (Alvina) Longoria, Katy, TX, Abel (Annelie) Tamez, San Antonio, TX; Grandchildren Aryonna N. Ozuna, Senoma J. Longoria, Michael D. Longoria, and Josiah A. Kyle as well as an extended amount of nieces and nephews.

Mike, among being one of the most endured members in the Longoria family, was a friend to all. His main occupation throughout the years was Dispatcher for McAda Drilling Fluids. Outside of work his time was most spent with family and friends. His love and knowledge of sports was vast, and he'd almost always greet you with "How about them Astros?" or "Hook 'em Horns", which we will truly miss. His love for music will bring to mind memories for all of us – whether it be stories of the different concerts he'd gone to or him singing to you in the truck while playing drums on his steering wheel and piano on his dash. He was always the life of the party, the person to put a smile on your face, and the person to put a good word in your ear. Never will a day go by without remembering our sweet father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend – Mike. Rest in peace Michael Longoria.

Visitation will be 5PM until 7PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM that evening. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
