Michael Allen Horton, 58, of Blessing passed away January 7, 2026. He was born May 9, 1967 in Pennyan, New York.

He was a great dad, husband, son, brother, hard worker, Mountain Dew drinker and many more great titles that he did well. This was a man who would step in for any one in need. Mike was someone who exemplified God’s grace and unconditional love. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be missed dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Michele Wyatt Horton; his mother Donna Nobles (Steve); children Christi Batchelor (Darrin), Jo Salter (Ricky), and Michael Claybourn (Rebecca); brothers Kris Horton and P. J. Horton; Grandchildren Nathan Allen Mayfield, Trevor Austin Mayfield, Ember Skye Batchelor, Tristin River Batchelor, Dakota Claybourn, Karaline Claybourn and Elijah Claybourn; great grandchild Waylon James and many other extended family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Midfield Community Center on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
