Michael Alvie Elliott, 72, of Bay City passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in Houston. He was born August 21, 1943 in Bay City, TX to the late Alvie Elander "A. E." & Lillian Mae Crawford Elliott. Michael was a lifelong resident of Bay City.

He is survived by his daughter: Michelle & Tristen Williams; 2 sons: Michael Alvie Elliott and Montgomery Edgar Pledger; and 4 grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and brother: Ronnie Elliott.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 23, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Cedric Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be: Jesse Soto, Steven Curtis, Edward Rojas, Rick Hoeser, Andrew Rodriguez, and Teal Bass. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tristen Williams and Michael Curd.
