Obituary
Michael J Bernhardt, 57, of Bay City, passed away February 11, 2017. He was born September 13, 1959 in El Centro, California to Richard L. Bernhardt and Fumiko Kurita Bernhardt.
Michael served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Seawolf, as a reactor operator from 1980-1986. After leaving the service, he came to work for STP as a reactor operator in October 1987.
Michael is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; his cousin Mizuyo Yoshioka; his significant other, Kim Hensley and many, many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16 at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, February 17, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will be 10:30am Monday, February 20, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.
