Obituary
Rev. Melchor Lara, 68, went to rest with His Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2012. He was born on January 6, 1944 to the late Atilano and Fidencia Lara. His strengths in life was the faith, prayer and the love he had to serve his Savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Maria Juana Lara; his children: Jorge Lara, Jose Lara, Jose Luis Lara, Gregorio Lara, Heralio Lara, Cilvia Reyes, Alejandra Estrada, Joshua Lara, Raquel Gonzales and Angelica Gurrola; 24 Grandchildren; 5 Great-grandchildren; Brothers and sisters are late Felicia Lara, Angel Lara, Augustin Lara, Jova Lara, Juana Lara and Maria Lara.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2012 with a Musical celebration service from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
