Melba Jeannine Baxter, 83, of Matagorda passed away May 28, 2020. She was born September 1, 1936 in Bay City, TX to the late James Robert Yeamans, Sr. and Hazel E. Bruce Yeamans.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Clancy Baxter and her brother Joe Yeamans.

Survivors include her daughter Julianne Cox & her husband Raymond; sons Robert Bruce Baxter and Clancy Baxter & his wife Kelli; brother James Robert Yeamans, Jr.; granddaughter Nicole Goodale & her husband Scott; two great-grandchildren Sicily and Dominic Goodale and her grandpups Peppa, Abbagail and Little Rhonda Rousy.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
