Matilde Lopez, 83, of Bay City passed away December 2, 2022. She was born March 14, 1939 to the late Cresencio Lopez and Macedonia Ramirez Lopez.

She enjoyed drinking coffee with her kids & grandkids in her home or at La Palmita. She also enjoyed going thrift shopping alongside her daughters. She loved to spend her time in Mexico any opportunity that she got.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adalberto Martinez and two sons Arturo Lopez and Obed Martinez.

Survivors include daughters Noemi Martinez, Delia Martinez, Edith Martinez and Aidee Fonseca; sons Laman Martinez and Adan Martinez; sisters Carmen Lopez and Rosa Lopez; brother Ciro Lopez; 28 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Centro Cristiano Church in Bay City.  The Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Saul Garcia will be at 12:00 Noon followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be: Chato Fonseca, Adan Ferrer, Julio Bernal, Jessesai Bernal, Fabián Reyes, and Alexis Reyes.
