Matias Bernal Garcia, Jr., 59, of Palacios passed away April 10, 2026. He was born April 23, 1966, in Victoria, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matias Bernal Garcia, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Mikilani Garcia; his mother, Viola Hajek; his sister, Grace Ledbetter and his brother, Paul Garcia.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Agape Family Worship in Palacios. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM with Pastor Eric Young officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery.
