Mary Benavides Reyes, 64, of Bay City went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born on December 24, 1948 in Bay City to the late Juan & Gregoria Rodriguez Benavides. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved to cook for her family. She lived her life to the fullest, and over came many obstacles. Mary will be very dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years: Julio Reyes; 9 children: Lucia Torres, Henry Reyes, Sandra Bickham, Cynthia Reyes Garcy, Bobby Reyes, Debbie Reyes Gaspard, Dianna Reyes Davis, Juan Reyes, and Cody Davis; bunches of grandchildren and great grandchildren; aunt: Margaret Carrion; God children; and nieces & nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Petra Benavides DeLeon.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the First Pentecostal Church, 700 Ave. I, Bay City, TX 77414 with Dr. Marvin Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
