Mary Virginia Morales 67, of Bay City, TX, passed away January 18, 2023. She was born June 24, 1955 in Ganado, TX to Antonio Medina and Maria Casares Medina.

Mary was known for her hardcore personality. She was a joy to be around, passing on a smile and laughter to those around her. She was happiest listening to her Tejano hits and surrounded by her loved ones. Those who knew her, knew she didn't play about her Texans football and loved talking smack about the Cowboys.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Rosie Medina, Gilbert Medina and Johnny Medina. She is survived by her husband Tomas Morales; daughter Patricia Morales; son Freddy Morales; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 9:00 am Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am, followed by Mass at 10:00 am with Fr. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Freddy Morales, Anthony Segueda, Freddy Ray Morales, Rudy Castillo, Ruben Castillo, Joseph Morales, Mark Medina and Steven Garcia.
